MAINE SENATE LABOR VOTES 2004

NOTE: The chart below covers ten key votes of importance to working families in Maine cast by Maine senators at the 2004 session of the Maine Legislature. It gives the name, party affiliation, home town and Legislative District of each of the members of the Maine House. The names are arranged alphabetically.

An "R" indicates a "right" vote and a "W" indicates a "wrong" vote. The number at the top of the column indicates the measure that was voted on. The columns, to the far right, indicate the percentage of "right" votes cast during the 2003 session, "right" votes cast during the 2004 session, the combined percentage of "right" votes cast in 2004-2004, and the lifetime percentage of "right" votes cast by that senator. The percentage is based on total votes actually cast. If the senator is absent or excused there is an "X".  The material "Labor Vote Information" below provides a brief description of the measure vote on, the Legislative Document (LD) number, the roll call number in the Senate (SRC) or in the House (HRC).

TO FIND: To find your senator on the chart - hold down the control (CTRL) key and at the same time hit "F" on your key board. The "Find" dialog box will pop up on your screen. Type in the last name of your representative, click "find" and the computer will find the name on the chart and highlight it in reverse type. A number of representatives have the same last name. If the first one found is not your representative, click on "find next."
