MAINE HOUSE LABOR VOTES 2005

NOTE: The chart below covers ten key votes of importance to working families in Maine cast by Maine representatives at the 2005 session of the Maine Legislature. It gives the name, party affiliation, home town and Legislative District of each of the 151 members of the Maine House. The names are arranged alphabetically.

An "R" indicates a "right" vote and a "W" indicates a "wrong" vote. The number at the top of the column indicates the measure that was voted on. The final column, to the far right, indicates the percentage of "right" votes cast during the 2005 session. The percentage is based on total votes actually cast. If the representative is absent or excused there is an "X".  The material "Labor Vote Information" below provides a brief description of the measure vote on, the Legislative Document (LD) number, the roll call number in the Senate (SRC) or in the House (HRC).

TO FIND: To find your representative on the chart - hold down the control (CTRL) key and at the same time hit "F" on your key board. The "Find" dialog box will pop up on your screen. Type in the last name of your representative, click "find" and the computer will find the name on the chart and highlight it in reverse type. A number of representatives have the same last name. If the first one found is not your representative, click on "find next."

WHO REPRESENTS YOU?: If you do not know the name of your representative:

FIND YOUR LEGISLATOR

State Senate and House Members 2005
The link below will take you to the letters of the alphabet. You click on the first letter of the name of your TOWN and a list of all Maine towns starting with that letter will appear. After the name of your town you will find the names of  both the Maine Senator and Maine Representative who represent your town. Click on either name and a picture and full information about that member of the Legislature will appear.

Also the first names of each legislator are in blue. If you click on the first name it will take you to full information about the legislator on the State of Maine web site.
