MCSC is the Maine affiliate of the Alliance of Retired Americans.  Our mission, “Fostering the Desires and Aspirations of Maine Seniors,” has directed our activities for more than a decade.  Our members advocate and lobby on behalf of all Maine seniors on volunteer basis.  We help seniors with information and support on a host of issues of concern.  Currently, our membership has swollen to over 3,000 individual and group members.  Over the years our advocacy activities have included:

3  Access to Low Cost Prescription Drugs

3  Fight to Preserve Social Security

3  Medicare / Medicaid Reform

3  Universal Health Care

3  Maintaining the Clean Election Program

3  Affordable Health Insurance for all

The MCSC meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am at the Maine State Employees Association, 65 State Street in Augusta.
