The Bush Record in Texas
The elevation (not election) of George W. Bush to the presidency by the Supreme Court in 2000 may seem a long time ago but the poor record of George W. Bush as Governor of Texas is still relevant to his present performance in office. This Washington Post series of 15 articles explores the Texas record in depth. Some of the articles include: Insurers Profited from Texas Tort Reform (Post, Feb. 10, 2000)Texas 'Tort Reform' Aided Business - and Bush (Post, Feb. 10, 2000) Texas Environment Could Work Against Bush (Post, Oct. 15, 1999)

Bush Watch Magazine
This is a daily Internet "magazine" from Austin, Texas that does appear to be edited daily. It claims to be unaffiliated and contains an amazing number of links to news, media, articles, editorials and other material (mostly critical) about Bush and his performance as president. Well worth a visit, particularly if you are looking for some quotation by or about Bush or some very up-to-date material about his latest action/inaction.

Bush - SPEAKING ENGLISH??
Perhaps we need to make it a requirement for presidents of the United States not only to be born in the United States but also that they be able to speak English. This site (called DubyaSpeak) is devoted entirely to quotations by Bush - such as:
"By making the right choices, we can make the right choice for our future."-- Flawless logic, Dallas, Texas, Jul. 18, 2003
